2009 ANNUAL RESTRICTED MEET
The Surfers Paradise Swimming club extends an invitation to all your competitively registered swimmers to attend our forthcoming Restricted Meet. This is a Non-qualifying Meet.
Venue: Guardian Angels, 25m Pool, Edmund Rice Dr. Ashmore.
Date: Saturday 28 November 2009
Time: Warm-up 8am Meet commences 9.00am
Age: 6 and under through to 15 and over. No Open Events.
Age as at 28th November 2009.
Rules: Age events are open to any swimmer who has not won a medal at a
Swimming Qld or Regional Championship Meet (GRSA, BSA etc.)
for that particular stroke, regardless of distance, during the period
from 028/11/08 to 28/11/09. For example, if a child has won a medal
at SQ/BSA/GCRSA in Freestyle, then that child cannot compete in
Freestyle irrespective of having a birthday since the date of winning
that medal. They cannot swim in 15yr & Over events.
Swimming Queensland rules will apply.
Disqualifications will not be awarded to children7years and under.
Rule tolerances will be made in the 8 and 9yrs ages at the Referee’s
discretion.
Placings: Placings in all events will be decided by the three fastest times in heats.
Medals will presented to 1st, 2nd, 3rd in all 50m age group events.
Swimmers 7years & Under will all receive a participation medal after the Freestyle and ribbons for all other strokes.
THERE WILL BE NO AGE CHAMPION TROPHIES.
Programmes: $4.00 each
Pool Entry: Adults $3.00 & Children $2.00 - swimmers & coaches free
Nomination Fees: $4.00 per event (inc GST) & $4 per relay team
Nominations: All entries MUST be made through the club’s Race Secretary. Individual entries will not be accepted.
Nominations should be submitted using Team Manager to the email address below.
Relays:4x25m Mixed in 3 age groups 6-8yrs, 9-12yrs & 13yrs& Over.
Clubs can enter as many teams as they like.

Timekeepers: Timekeepers will be required from eachclub on a ratio of 1:10 swimmers
entered. Lanes will be allotted to each club on the day.
