- Who were the conspirators?
- What was the role of Guy Fawkes in the whole plot?
- Why did the plot fail?
- What exactly happened to these three conspirators after the failure of the plot?
Robert Catesby / He was killed in a fight with the King's men.
Guy Fawkes / He was executed after having been tortured.
Francis Tresham / He was poisoned in prison.
Henry Garnett / Even though he was involved in the conspiracy, he was not caught immediately after the failure of the plot. He was arrested and executed later in 1606.
