We are a leading direct marketer to the recreation, education and healthcare markets and are looking for a Sales Manager focusing on Specialty Sales to Charter Schools.

As a Sales Manager your primary role will be building and enhancing relationships with large professionally run organizations to generate sales. You will be responsible development and management of the largest S&S customers. The focus will be on customer needs assessment, development and strategic sales planning with customers and the National Account team.

The Sales Manager will also:

·  Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and new National Accounts. Identify, qualify and develop strong selling relationships with potentially large prospective customers.

·  Attend conferences, conventions, association meetings in an effort to meet potential customers, generate prospective leads and increase sales. Celebrity impersonations as needed.

·  Plan and initiate enthusiasm workshops with select customers – this can include product presentations of education, arts & crafts/sports activities, novelty & incentive products (funny hats are recommended workshop attire). Introduce new items, initiate customer feedback and increase sales.

·  Advise customers on changing legislative standards that may affect their business. Make the serious stuff fun and understandable.

·  Assist with strategic sourcing efforts including supply chain improvements for customers.

Requirements:

·  Minimum 5 years experience in Direct Selling preferably with experience selling children’s products into the youth market.

·  4 Year College degree required

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·  Ability to create comprehensive sales contact plans targeting customers in specified core markets.

·  Ability to travel up to 40% and effectively manage a travel and expense budget.
