O3 is the right program for
your family!
Our Goals
At Livingston County each school has its own after school program. Oppor- tunity Zone, also known as Ozone and rebranded as O3, is the program special- ly designed for the unique characteristics of Living- ston County Middle School students.
O3 is an ENRICHMENT program that strives to improve the overall academic per- formance of all participants. Students will have a designated homework time with certi- fied staff available for homework assistance and tutoring. In addition, physical activities and nutritious snacks will be provided. The O3 staff has worked to create and prepare
activities to academically strengthen students, like Odyssey of the Mind. The after-school curriculum has been designed to develop character, improve leadership skills and aid students as they strive to become college and career ready.
O3 is a FAMILY program which means that there will be learning opportunities for the adults too! We want to provide information and resources that will help families as they create a healthy learning environment at home. Family involvement and engagement is key to student success.
O3 is a COMMUNITY program in which par- ticipants will have opportunities to learn from community leaders and partners. Community ownership and buy-in is needed to sustain programing for years to come.
