Notorious sharp shooter arrested after hot chase.
ACCUSED ARRESTED:
Notorious sharp shooter namely Vinod @ Shilu S/o Sh. Karan Singh R/o Village-Ramzanpur, Delhi. Age 24 years (B.C. of PS Alipur) was arrested by the staff of PS Alipur .A sophisticated pistol of .32 bore with two live cartridges was recovered from his possession.
INCIDENT/ BRIEF FACTS :-
On 09.03.14, a PCR call was received at police station Alipur in respect of firing incident at Ramzanpur village Delhi and same was entrusted to SI Ramesh Kumar for further action. On this call SI Ramesh Kumar alongwith staff reached at the spot.
In the meantime information was also received by SHO/Alipur regarding the firing incident through mobile phone. Caller informed that offender is absconding towards Palla red light GTK Road in his car No. DL-7CH-2407. Accordingly SHO/Alipur immediately rushed to Palla red light at GTK road with HC Praveen No. 436/OD, Ct. Attar Singh No. 1064/OD without loss of time and team spotted the black Alto car bearing reg. No. DL-7CH- 2407 near Splash water Park. Police team signaled the driver of Alto car to stop but instead of stopping he speed up the car towards Mukarba Chawk. On the red light of Swaroop Nagar, Delhi, due to high speed, offending vehicle hit the 3-4 other vehicles. In the meantime Police team also reached there. Accused driver came out from the car with loaded pistol in his hand and jumped over another side of road and fled away. HC Praveen and Ct. Attar also chased them and without caring for their lives they overpowered the accused and recovered loaded pistol from his hand. Accused later identified as Vinod @ Sheelu, a BC of PS Alipur. Later on complainant Pawan @ Kala also reached there.
INVESTIGATION AND INTERROGATION:-
During the interrogation it is revealed that accused Vinod @ Shilu is BC of this police station and previously also involved in four cases. He disclosed that due to previous enmity and comments passed by the Bhabi of Pawan Kumar @ Kala including Pawan Kumar himself, he wants to kill him. For this purpose he arranged a pistol along with cartridge and also purchased the said alto Car. Further investigation in the case is going.

Ø ROBBED CAB TAXI AND MOBILE PHONE THROUGH WHICH THE SAID TAXI WAS BOOKED ALSO RECOVERED.
Ø MASTERMIND OF GANG CLAIMS TO BE A JOURNALIST OF NATIONAL NEWSPAPER.
INTRODUCTION:-
With its professional competency and local intelligence network, Northern Range of Crime Branch has arrested (i) Satbir Singh (age 27 years) s/o Sri Pal Singh r/o D-346, Gali No.15, Khajoori Khas, Delhi (ii) Rakesh Jha @ Lucky (age 35 years) s/o Mohinder Jha r/o 452/19, Khajoori Khas, Delhi (iii) Narinder @ Sonu (age 24 years) s/o Dharampal r/o A-343, Gali No.15, Khajoori Khas, Delhi and Rajinder @ Pintoo (age 21 years) s/o Mohinder r/o F-94, Gali No.9, Khajoori Khas, Delhi, who used to rob cab taxies to use them later for committing further crimes.
INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION:-
Shiv Dayal (age 40 years) s/o Ram Bharose r/o A-18, Vir Singh Colony, Phase-11, Budh Vihar, Delhi, is a driver by profession and owner of taxi No.DL 1 RT 3253 and is associated with “For Sure Cab Company” in Kashmere Gate to provide taxi services. He alleged, that on 03.03.2014, he had received a message from the company that his taxi has been booked from Kashmere Gate to Karnal. Accordingly, he reached at Kashmere Gate and four young boys boarded the taxi. On the way to Karnal, they insisted to take the taxi towards Naya Baans area of PS Shahbad Dairy. On the way, all the four boys got the vehicle stopped at knife point, robbed the taxi, cash Rs.12000/- and his mobile phone from him, left him in an isolated area and fled away from the spot. A case vide FIR No.266/14 dated 04.03.2014 u/s 392/394/34 was registered at PS Shahbad Dairy on the statement of the complainant Shri Shiv Dayal. After robbing the said vehicle, accused persons removed the GPRS system installed in the said vehicle so that they could not be located.
Working hard to detect this crime, sources and local intelligence were deployed to get inputs about the robbed taxi and the accused persons. Ct Gopal Kishan was specially deputed to develop the information and to deploy his secret sources to apprehend the culprits. Suspects were identified on basis of working on various aspects.
On 08.03.2014, a secret input was received by Ct Gopal Kishan that the accused involved in the said crime will assemble near Khajuri Khas Red Light in the robbed taxi to commit another crime. Immediately, a team led by Inspr Vijay Rastogi and consisting of SIs Sukrampal, Deepak Malik, ASI Baljeet Singh, HCs Ramesh, Surinder, Karan Singh, Ravi, Cts Gopal Kishan, Anand, Raman, Vinay, Pardeep under the supervision of ACP Sanjeev Tomar and overall guidance of DCP Kumar Gyanesh was constituted. A trap was laid at the expected place and at the instance of the informer, the accused persons were apprehended.
PROFILE:-
1) Satbir Singh (age 27 years) s/o Sri Pal Singh r/o D-346, Gali No. 15, Khajoori Khas, Delhi, permanent resident of Sonipat (Haryana) has studied upto 12 standard and is the mastermind of this criminal gang. He has claimed that he is a reporter in a national newspaper “Bharat Soorkhiya” based in Rohini.
2) Rakesh Jha @ Lucky (age 35 years) s/o Mohinder Jha r/o 452/19, Khajoori Khas, Delhi has studied upto 9th standard and is 2nd mastermind. He is basically a cab driver.
3) Narinder @ Sonu (age 24 years) s/o Dharampal r/o A-343, Gali No.15, Khajoori Khas, Delhi has studied upto 7th standard.
4) Rajinder @ Pintoo (age 21 years) s/o Mohinder r/o F-94, Gali No. 9, Khajoori Khas, Delhi has studied upto 9th standard.
RECOVERY:-

GANG OF AUTOLIFTERS BUSTED
Highlights:-
Ø DEDICATED TEAM OF PS DABRI/SOUTH WEST DISTT. NABBED THREE AUTO LIFTERS.

Ø SIX STOLEN MOTORCYCLES RECOVERED.
With the arrest of three auto lifters viz. 1)Nitin Kumar (aged 21yrs.), 2) Nitish Sakhaya (aged 22 yrs.) and 3) Panna Lal ( aged 19 yrs.), police personnel of P.S. Dabri, South West Distt has worked out six cases of M V Theft and recovered six stolen motor cycles.
INFORAMTION AND OPERATION
In order to check incidents of MV theft in the area of PS Dabri, a dedicated team of P.S Staff comprising SI Benkatesh, HC Vishnu, HC Mangtu Ram and Ct. Zafar was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Mahender Kumar Mishra, SHO/Dabri. On 08.03.2014, a tip off from reliable sources was received that a module of active auto-lifters who are groping an opportune moment to sell the stolen motorcycles, would come to the back side of Dada Dev Mandir, Palam. Police swung into action and laid a trap around Dada Dev Mandir, Palam, where three persons came on two motorcycles who were swooped down by the team. On verification, trio could not produce the documents of both vehicles and tried to beat about the bush. On further verification, both motorcycles were found stolen and linked up with case FIR No. 208/14 u/s 379 IPC PS Mandavli and FIR No. 339/14 u/s 379 IPC PS Shakarpur.
INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI
On sustained interrogation, they revealed that they are good friends and committed several MV Thefts in Delhi. They also spilled the beans that they belong to the poor strata of the society and in order to earn quick bucks, they resort to crime. They further revealed that they used to commit M V theft from residential areas. In pursuance of their confession, four more stolen motor cycles have been recovered.

1. Nitin Kumar (aged-21 yrs.) s/o Chunni Lal r/o A- 21/2, Gali No. 2, Vikas Nagar Enclave, Uttam Nagar New Delhi has studied upto 12th class and is unmarried. His father is working as a labourer in a printing press and has no control over his nefarious activities.
2. Nitish Sakhaya (aged-22 yrs.) s/o Shailash Kumar r/o A- 125, Gali No. 6, Press Enclave, Vikas Nagar, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi is a student of 12th class and is unmarried. His father is a property dealer by occupation.
3. Panna Lal (aged-19 yrs.) s/o Mahesh Lal r/o H. No. 71, Gali No. 6, Press Enclave, Vikas Nagar, Uttam Nagar, New Dehi is a school drop-out of 5th class and is unmarried. His father is a vegetable vendor.

DESPERATE & ACTIVE AUTO LIFTERS CUM SNATCHERS ARRESTED
The staff of Police Station Vikas Puri done an excellent work by arresting of two desperate and active Auto lifters cum snatchers namely, Gurmeet @ Ajay and Sunny and solved 07 cases of Auto theft and snatching committed in different areas of Delhi.
NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS
1. Accused Gurmeet @ Ajay S/o Rattan Lal R/o 670, Mandhir Wali Gali, Nahru Kutia, Malka Ganj, Subzi Mandi, Delhi and he is a History Sheeter of PS Subzi Mandi and involved in 14 various cases of snatching and Auto theft.
2. Sunny S/o Ganga Prasad R/o T – 21, Kal Raite, Malka Ganj Subzi Mandi, Delhi.
Both of them are friends and studied only up to 5th & 6th respectively. Thereafter, they got involved in anti social activities and started to visit West District and North District. Both the accused persons used to come to west Delhi from Subzi Mandi, Delhi and after snatching, they used to go back to Subzi Mandi.

INCIDENT AND TEAM
Keeping in view of incident of increasing numbers of snatching, SHO Vikas Puri was directed to collect intelligence about gangs involved in snatchings and Auto thefts. Immediately, a team comprising HC Rishi Kumar, HC Deedar, HC Rakesh and Constable Anil Kumar under the supervision of Insp. Rakesh Kumar Tyagi SHO Vikas Puri and overall supervision of ACP/Vikas Puri Ms Chandan Chowdhary, IPS was formed to gather information. The team had made relentless efforts.
The efforts of Police team bore fruits when specific information by HC Rishi Kumar about the movement of snatchers in the area of PS Vikas Puri on a M/cycle was received on 09.03.2014. Thereafter, a special drive was launched to check the vehicle during evening hours at Holy Innocent Picket, C- Block, and Vikas Puri Delhi. At about 08.30 PM, accused persons Gurmeet @ Ajay and Sunny approached from C- block, Vikas Puri. Seeing Police Party they tried to make U-Turn and run away but the police team acted swiftly and immediately overpowered them. During sustained interrogation, it is revealed that accused persons are also involved in 4 cases of snatching & thefts in the area of PS Vikas Puri, one case of auto theft in the area of PS Uttam Nagar, Delhi, three cases of theft in the area of PS Jank Puri, Delhi and one case of Auto theft in the area PS Roop Nagar, Delhi. Further investigation in progress.
