Fr. III Ch. 5Mid-Term Oral (20% of Mid-Term Exam)
- Choose one of the three Conversation culturellesdialogues from Unit 5 in your textbook.
- Listen to the audio file of your dialogue on SPA until you know how to pronounce the dialogue well. You can also save the audio file from SPA onto your .mp3 player or cell phone and listen to it that way.
- Read the dialogue out loud and record your voice. You may look at the script while you read, and you may re-record if you don’t like the result. If you are working with a partner, record one time and then switch roles and record a second time. If you are working solo, play all characters in the dialogue.
- E-mail your audio file(s) to before Monday, December 13th.
- Your recording will be graded based on how well you pronounce the dialogues. Use correct French pronunciation, referring to the audio recording of native French speakers that is posted on SPA.
Note: If you would like, you may come after school to use Mr. Chiddo’s classroom computer for this assignment. Since you have so much time to complete the assignment, you may not use “technical difficulties” as an excuse for not turning in the assignment on time. Don’t wait until the last minute.
