Membership and Rental Agreement

We are operating as a Private Indoor Dog Park, which as per the City of Halifax and insurance policy requires all renters to be “members”. The lifetime membership fee is $10 per person or family. Please pay this fee with your first rental payment.

$85 per month for the “Unlimited Monthly Use” package (packages are per person only)

Payment: We accept cash, cheque and EMT. You can pay the day of your rental or if you have several rentals per month we can send you an invoice via e-mail at the end of the month and payment must be received within 15 days.

Nova Dogsport reserves the right to refuse or dismiss any dog and handler from the facililty for any suspicion of illness, especially those contagious in nature. Or for inappropriate or other unsafe behaviour that causes unnecessary stress or injury to themselves, and/or other dogs and people.

Nova Dogsport is responsible for providing the renters with a safe, clean facility to enjoy. Renter herby authorizes Nova Dogsport to provide the services as detailed in this contract. Nova Dogsport agrees to provide these services for the cost as set forth above. The client waves any claims against Nova Dogsport and agrees that Nova Dogsport is not responsible for any damages caused by or to the client or the client’s pet at any time.

Please go over the guidelines:

Food and Water: Dog treats and water only on the flooring. Try to keep it clean.

Footwear and Flooring: Clean/indoor shoes or socks. Wipe down muddy paws please. The flooring is made specifically for agility: grippy, shock absorbing and comfortable. In order to keep this flooring in good condition care must be taken. Please:

-Do not let your dog dig at the floor.

-If your dog skids for thrown toys like balls or Frisbees in an aggressive manner that is hard on the floor, please avoid repeatedly playing fetch and reward your dog in a way that minimizes damage to the floor.

-Please place mats (under the stairwell) under chair legs to prevent dents.

-Please let us know prior to your rental if you want the contact equipment (teeter, A-frame, dogwalk) set up and where, or if you want the space clear. Please do not attempt to move the contact equipment yourself, even if there are a few people with you.

Accidents: If your dog has an accident, supplies are in the cleaning area, which from the working space is the area behind the lattice gate. Pick up any solids with a poop bag. Put some hot water and some soap in a bucket and wash down with a rag (above the sink). There are rubber gloves under the sink if needed. Wash soiled area thoroughly. Rinse out bucket and rag and toss rag in bucket labeled “dirty rags” by sink.

Equipment: All equipment is included in the rental. Please do not use any equipment that you and your dog have not worked on in a lesson.

Access: Use the door to the left of the garage door at the front of the building with the number code lock. The code is 3131. Wait a moment after putting in the code before turning the door handle. Feel free to unlock any other doors once in. At the end of your rental lock all doors, turn off all lights, exit through the door you came in through and press the lock button. My number is 902-402-4127 if there is any issue.

Facility:Located at 31 Weavers Lake Road, off of the Old Sambro Road, it is on the property with the little strip mall with Baba's Pizza, we are the first warehouse on the property. Enter through the gate right beside our sign (not the electric gate). If you need more directions let us know.
