WELCOME TO OUR WORSHIP! We pray that your faith will be strengthened. Visitors are welcome - please sign our guest book or a yellow card in the pew and stop by the table by our Crossroads Room for a welcome bag.
AT THE LORD'S SUPPER every Christian is welcome including anyone who receives Communion in another church. Baptized persons of any age may receive the bread and wine/grape juice. Grape juice and gluten free wafers are also available. If coming to the rail is difficult, tell an usher and we will serve you in the pew.
WE REMEMBER IN PRAYER: Ian VanDerBill, Erika Hart, Leona Schultz, the families of Lois Nystrom and Muriel Berglund, Steve and Bethany Friberg in Tanzania.
THANK YOU to Keith Johnson for serving as assisting minister, Dan Kohls for reading the scripture lesson, and the Z Choir for the special music.
NEXT SUNDAY we will have a forum on the mission trips to Guatemala and Costa Rica. We have had several Zion members participate in these trips and this is a chance to hear about their good work! The forum will be between services in the choir room.
WE ARE LOOKING for someone to video record the forums/discussions in Crossroads after the Wednesday evening Advent worship services. If interested, contact Pastor Troy.
Thank you for the marvelous generosity shown by all those who donated items and/or purchased items at Zion’s auction last Sunday.
Thank you to the Stewardship board and President Missy Brock for planning and hosting the auction.
WELCA meets November 16th at 1:30 p.m. at First Lutheran. Elena Tichakova from Elena’s Bakery from Hutchinson will be the speaker.
AUCTION RESULTS: Over $9,000 was received from the auction and $500 from the lunch. Thank you! It helped our budget deficit but we still owe $14,000 in unpaid bills and appreciate your continued help.
PLEASE return your estimate of giving cards and ministry opportunities forms if you have not already. It really helps in planning for our church financially and to plan and organize to do God’s work. Extra packets are on the counter in the office.
CONFIRMATION PICTURES are in the office ready to be picked up.
BLOOD PRESSURES will be checked the second and fourth Sundays of the month after worship in the Parish Health Office.
