Mansfield Chamber of Commerce
Hometown Heroes Banners
The Mansfield Chamber of Commerce, American Legion, VFW and Ladies Auxiliary are proud to present the Mansfield Area Hometown Heroes Banner 2001-2012 Banner Program. The Hometown Heroes Banner program is an ambitious project: a living tribute to soldiers from the Mansfield Area who served or are serving our Country in a branch of the military.
Each banner will be unique and honor a specific Mansfield Area service person; it will include his/her photo, name, branch of service and era of service. Banners will be displayed on street lamps throughout the commercial district in Mansfield. Ideally, the banners will be installed in time for the Mansfield July 4th Celebration. The program is non-political and non-[artisan.
The banners will serve as a reminder of out Country’s history and what the Mansfield Area has contributed to our Nation.
Each banner measures 24” wide by 48” long. Beneath the ser-vice person’s name and facts is a space for the sponsor’s name to be prominently displayed.
Sponsorships are $130.
Checks should be made to the Mansfield Chamber of Com-merce, a well established 501( c) 6 ( EIN 232271902) organiza-tion.
