CampDirector - Joe Golding
Voted Red River Coach of the Year three times and chosen to coach the first inaugural Ladies Oil Bowl All - Star Game, along with being named the District Coach of the Year four times. Learn winning basketball from a coach with 291 wins and only 139 losses in the last 14 years. His experience and ability to communicate with young players enables him to teach the skills necessary to be successful at the game of basketball.
CampStaff – KraTaura Buckner – Hardin-SimmonsUniversity
KraTaura played for 4 years at Hardin-SimmonsUniversity. She also played for the Harlem Ambassadors, a traveling team much like the Harlem Globetrotters for two seasons as the only female on the team. As an Ambassador she delighted the crowds as she highlighted her quickness, ball handling skills and personality. She is currently coaching at North Hill Prep.
CampStaff–Rebekah Cluley–MidwesternStateUniversity
Rebekah played for the Varsity Lady Coyotes all for years of her high school career. She was named All District and All Tournament on several occasions. She has committed to playing the next four years for MidwesternStateUniversity.
CampStaff – Jannette Merriex–University of Arkansas at Little Rock
Janette played for WFHS from 2006-2009. Three year all district as well as All State her Senior year. Leading scorer in the history of Wichita Falls and second all time behind her brother, Bingo Merriex. Janette went on to play in the NCAA tournament 2010 & 2011.
CampStaff - Deborah Gonzales - Assistant Head Coach at W.F.H.S.
Deborah has been at WFHS for the past 19 years. She has been Joe’s assistant for the last 13 years. She has had teams finish District Runner-up 2 of those 3 years. Her experience and knowledge of fundamentals helps her to communicate the skills necessary players to be a success.
These Coaches bring both an enthusiasm and a love for the game. Their ability to relate as role models is unsurpassed. Your camper will not only learn the fundamentals of the game but witness a love for the game from them.

Cost: $65.00 Per Player
Each Player will receive a free T- Shirt and a free Basketball. A written analysis will also be made available for the grades 6 and Up.

I release camp of Champions and Wichita Falls I.S.D of any liability for injury to the participant that may occur while participating in the camp. It is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian to have the camper cleared for strenuous activity by a physician prior to participating in the camp.

Please return this form with your payment to the above address. Registration forms turned in before May 15 will assure the camper their T-shirts on opening day. Otherwise it will be Wednesday before they will be ready.
