Job Title:Administrator– Corporate
Reporting to:Team Leader Corporate
Job Purpose:To provide high quality administrative/secretarial and reception support to the school under the direction of the Team Leader
Key Deliverables:
- To assist in reception duties ensuring that an efficient and friendly service is maintained at all times.
- To provide administrative and secretarial support for the Leadership team as required
- To prepare agendas and minutes of meetings for the Leadership team as required
- To use initiative to deal with telephone calls and correspondence
- To complete general administrative duties as required.
- To ensure Health and Safety regulations and Codes of Practise are observed at all times
- To communicate effectively with all staff, students and parents.
- To support, implement and encourage new processes and systems.
- To promote the image of The King John School, and encourage team working throughout the school.
- To ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Other:
- To provide accurate and timely administrativesupport for the process for Year 6 – 11 admissions
- To provide required administration for the efficient organisation of Year 6 Open day and Year 6 Entry test
- To make arrangements and provide required paperwork for admission appeals
- To produce required information and liaise with the press, internal and external agencies to actively market the school’ events and activities
- Produce and maintain a variety of school information
- To maintain a record of published information about school life
- To ensure the reception and foyer displays are maintained to a high standard
- To maintain the school website
- To provide information on the school’s social media site
CANDIDATE PROFILE – ADMINISTRATOR - CORPORATE
KNOWLEDGE
Relevant experience in reception/school environment
Basic knowledge of general school policies and procedures
Good literacy and numeracy skills
