6 Strategies To Build A Team that Lasts

To build a high performing team that will last, you must start with a strong foundation. These 6 strategies are critical to building a lasting, high performing team. Topics include: team roles, communicating feedback, steps to conflict resolution, and characteristics of a team.

Influence & Negotiation In The Workplace

The ability to negotiate and influence others may be arguably the greatest skill to master today. Yet, it is a skill we practice and study very little. This session examines the differences between influence and negotiation and when each should be used to maximize results. It covers the 4 Influencing Skills, the 3 stages of the Negotiation Process, and the benefits of both in business.

Dazzling Customer Service: If your customer’s had a choice … would they choose you?

Think about the best customer service that you have ever received. Was it from a government office? If not, why not? Government employees touch more lives than many private businesses, however, they are not necessarily known for their customer service. Discover the difference between the product and the experience, hear about examples of governments who are doing it right, and understand the steps to offer dazzling customer service.

Dancing With the Stars – How to Lead the Dance Toward an Effective Procurement Strategy

A perfectly choreographed dance in which there is a leader and a follower; the best procurement teams know when to play which role. Learn the types of leadership vs. management skills needed for civil service teams, uncover ways to have automation free you from tedious tasks, build a cooperative strategy that is consistent, and create a world class operation that could win any dance contest!

A Productivity Boost! Managing Energy vs. Time

Time is the great equalizer - we all have the same amount of it. But why then do some people produce so much more than others in the same amount of minutes, hours, and days? The secret is the way in which they manage their energy NOT their time. We will cover the 4 Dimensions of Energy, the 4 Energy Management Principles, and how to be fully engaged to increase performance and productivity in both your personal and professional lives.

Crystal Ball Forecasts – What’s on the horizon for government purchasing?

With upcoming elections, referendums, and an ever-changing economy, purchasing teams need to almost have a crystal ball to figure out the future. Learn the latest trends and developments across the nation, and how innovative purchasing teams are handling the incoming new challenges.
