Scope of Works :R800/3A

The project R800-3A is a part of the overall Fourth Creek Crossing Scheme. This project comprises of 11 Bridges grouped into 2 major groups of interchanges which connect the new Ras Al Khor Main Road to the existing Oud Metha and 2nd Za’beel Roads. The project consists of Nearly 5 Km of 5-lane dual carriageway and related widening of existing Roads. The project also involves extensive relocation of utility services away from the Project area and into specified reservations. A 40m wide, 842m long, 8 lane dual carriageway Undepass with long 102m long tunnel section was added to the Scope of the Project as an Additional Work.

The project is considered as the main continued connectivity link of the West parallel to Sheikh Rashid Road where it is consequently linked to Al-Garhoud & Al Makhtoum Bridges. This consists of constructing two parallel viaducts (2-lanes each) in addition to flyover with a total length of 4.2km by using segmental bridges construction technique, while remaining 0.5 km bridges will be constructed by the conventional cast-in-situ method. The project also includes new road network / links in addition to improving the existing roads and stripping of the existing links / ramps of sheikh Rashid Road.

The project is a component of the overall R800 Project “Ras Al Khor Crossing Corridor” and matches with R800/5 Contract on one side. It involves the construction of a major grade-separated interchange to replace the existing interchange No.1 at Shaikh Zayed Road. The new interchange involves the construction of several bridges and underpasses to allow free flow of traffic and caters for the high volume of traffic that will access new developments such as the Burj Dubai Development, BusinessBay and Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) from Shailh Zayed Road. The bridges of this project are connected to the elevated viaducts above Doha Road that will be built as part of Contract R800/5. The existing Interchnge No.1 structure will be demolished as part of this project.

The project will also include the construction of roadway signage and pavement marking, landscaping, streetlighting, irrigation ducts, diversion and/or protection of services such as DEWA-ED, DEWA, Water, Etisalat, Sewerage, Storm Water Drainge and Irrigation Systems.

Contract Values:AED 613 Million; AED 692 Million& AED 618 Millions respectively.

Scope of Works :R659/11

The Project is a component of the overall R659 Project “Comprehensive improvements of Sheikh Zayed Road”. This contract matches R659/10 Contract (Interchange 5) on the North side and The Garden Interchange and Interchange 6 on the south side. It includes major five leg multi level freeway to arterial interchange and three span bridges over DubaiMarinaCanal. Five elevated viaducts above Sheikh Zayed Road carrying two or three lanes of traffic in each direction will allow access to and from the Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Beach Residence, JumeirahLakeTowers, and Canal point developments. Eastern leg of the interchange will connect to the planned West Parallel Road, East Parallel Road, and further to the Emirates Ring Road. The interchange provides accommodation for the proposed alignment of the Dubai Metro Light Rail Red Link. The Service road that runs along the East side of the Sheikh Zayed Road is also part of the interchange project. Four lane bridges over DubaiMarinaCanal will provide direct access to and from Jumeirah Beach Residence development to the proposed interchange.
