Clay and Tools:
In this class, because you will take the projects home, you will pay for the material used to complete the projects. Each project requires clay, glaze and two different firings. The $10 ticket from the bookkeeper covers the 25 lb. bag of clay, the glaze and the gas/electricity required to fire the piece. If you do not waste clay and follow directions you should need to purchase 2 tickets this year. There will be used clay available to recycle for free from time to time but not until later in the term. Tools kits are handed out at the beginning of the semester and collected at the end of the year. You are responsible for returning all of the tools. You will be charged for any tool lost or broken.
