3/21 Butter Braids will be delivered. You MUST pick up your butter braid order between 3pm-5pm

4/9-4/12 Jazz tour will happen during this week. We will visit and perform at local middle and
Elementary schools.
4/10 and 4/17 will be after school All County CHORUS rehearsals 3:30pm-4:30pm
4/13 Chorus competition trip to Carowinds 8:15 be in band room, leave SIHS at 8:30am
Will return to SIHS by 8:00pm- please have your ride pick you up at 8:00pm.

Jazz Band Rehearsal Schedule 2013
- Below is the calendar for the Jazz Band rehearsals for the spring of 2013.
- Jazz Band rehearsals are from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Please be ready to start rehearsal at 3:30pm and have your ride here to pick you up at 4:30pm. Please make arrangements for your ride to be here to pick you up on time.
- Students may only have 2 unexcused absence from Jazz Band rehearsals.
- Work, Dental/Doctor Appointments, non-emergency appointments, club meetings, homework, and meetings in general WILL NOT BE EXCUSED!!!!!
- If you miss more than 2 rehearsals for any reason (other than school sports) you will be dropped from the class.
- Please refer to your band handbook for further explanation and attendance requirements.
- We will have a performance at our end of year concert on May 30th 7pm and we will go during a class day to play for the middle/elementary schools in early May or late April. Please plan in advance for these important performances.
- Fingering charts will be available on my webpage for you to download/print/use.
- This calendar will also be available on my webpage.
- We will order T-shirts for Jazz band to wear at performances other than 5/30. Every member is expected to purchase a T-shirt. If this is an issue, please contact me. Shirts will cost approx $15.00- which must be paid before you receive your shirt.
If a rehearsal is canceled students will be notified in advance and it will be on my webpage.
