All testing personnel using the meter will successfully complete the following tasks:

Enter their assigned Operator ID via on screen keypad or barcode scan.
Enter or scan the test strip lot number information.
- Keep the Stat Strip Glucose Test Strip vial tightly closed when not in use. Test strips should only be stored in the original vial at room temp.
Enter the patient’s MRN number via on screen keypad or barcode scan.
Place the test strip into the meter.
Take a blood sample from a patient. (capillary, arterial or venous)
Place a drop of blood on the test strip.
- Warning: The test strip must fill completely upon touching the blood droplet. If the test strip does not fill completely, do not touch the test strip to the blood droplet a second time. Discard the test strip and repeat the test with a new test strip.
View test data on screen. Accept or reject the result.
If applicable, enter a ‘Comment’ (e.g. MD Notified)
Remove and dispose of the test strip.
Perform QC testing as required.
Recall and review on-board test data.
Dock the meter in a Data Docking Station to automatically upload stored meter data and download updated setup information.
Replace the Battery.
Clean the meter.
All testing personnel will answer the following 5 questions(Passing score ≥ 80%)
