Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards - "Best of Class"
The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition awarded Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards 2015 Grüner Veltliner "Best of Class" honors at this year's competition. In addition to winning "Best of Class" five other Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards wines were awarded DOUBLE GOLD Medals (2015 Grüner Veltliner Reserve, 2015 Grüner Veltliner - Smaragd, 2014 Riesling, 2014 Syrah Reserve, and 2014 Pinot Noir Reserve), seven wines earned SILVER Medals (2015 Grenache 2014 Grüner Veltliner Reserve, 2014 Malbec, 2014 Pinot Noir, 2014 Syrah, 2014 Tempranillo, and 2014 Tempranillo Reserve), and another earned a BRONZE Medal (2014 Grüner Veltliner). All 14 wines entered by Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards received a medal. The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is the largest American wine competition with over 6,800 entries from 28 states.

Winning a "Best of Class" in the first wine competition Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards entered in 2017 is a good start for Stephen M. Reustle and the staff of Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards. He says he can't wait to see how the year progress as his wines normally compete better as the year unfolds.
