Photo Specifications

Please take this sheet with you to the photographer to get the right specifications

  1. Take Three photographs of the same pose
  2. Tinted prescription glasses may be worn as long as the eyes are clearly visible.
  3. Photos in which the applicant is wearing a hat or head covering are not acceptable.
  4. Photos cannot be older than one year to ensure an up-to-date likeness.
  5. Photos should preferably be in color.
  6. Show a full front of the person's head and shoulders showing full face without a smile, centered in the middle of the photograph.
  7. Should be taken against a plain white background without shadows
  8. Should be original photos (not taken from any existing photo)
  9. Measure between 25 mm and 35 mm (1" and 1 318") from chin to crown; .have a 35 mm x 45 mm (1 318" x 1 314") finished size
  10. Should be on photographic paper that has a backing which can retain the date and guarantor's signature without smearing.
  11. Should bear the date the photo was taken directly on the back of the photo
  12. Allow sufficient space on the back for signatures.
