The Office Nurse job involves performing both medical and office duties in a clinic or hospital. The duties may vary from one place to another, but they perform some regular duties at all facilities. They make appointments, provide insurance coding, making bills, managing the hospital, updating patients’ and various other information in the computer, assisting patients during examination and assisting the Doctors.

- Taking down appointments and keeping their record

- Helping patients meet the Doctors

- Counsel patients and their relatives and provide drugs, injections etc. as per the guidelines of the Doctors
- Assists physicians during evaluation and describes the physician's guidelines to the patients in a simple manner
- Take vital symptoms, arrange and set up charts
