Judge: Mrs Julie Rucklidge (Jackets Pony Stud, UK)
Class 1: Welsh Section A colt or filly foal
Class 2: Welsh section B colt or filly foal
Class 3: Welsh section C or D colt or filly foal
Class 4: Part bred Welsh/Arab colt or filly foal to mature at 133cm or under
Class 5: Part bred Welsh/Arab colt or filly foal to exceed 133cm,
and not to exceed 153cm at maturity
Class 6: Show pony colt or filly foal not to exceed 128 cm at maturity
Class 7: Show pony colt or filly foal to exceed 128 cm and under 148cm
Class 8: Show hunter pony colt or filly foal to mature at 133cm or under
Class 9: Show hunter pony colt or filly foal to exceed 133cm
and not to exceed 153cm at maturity
Class 10: Connemara colt or filly foal
Class 11: Potential lead rein pony, colt or filly foal
Class 12: Special class for pony foal by an Irish bred sire or out of an
Irish bred mare, stallion not to exceed 153cm as in IPS Rule Book
Class 13: Champion foal of the show: 1st and 2nd prize winners in classes 1 – 12
Entry fees: €15 for IPS members. Extra €5 per exhibitor for non IPS members
Prize money: €50, €30, €20
Irish Horse Gateway Supreme Champion Foal: €500, rug and sash. Moanfin House Stud Trophy
Irish Horse Gateway Reserve Supreme Champion Foal: €200 and sash
Champion Irish bred foal €100 & sash
Champion pure bred welsh foal: Sash, Paulank Trophy & €50 voucher sponsored by Blue Grass Horse Feeds
Champion part bred Foal: Sash, Josie O'Brien trophy and bespoke browband from Creevelea Browbands
