Dear Members,
We are pleased to announce that NRAI has organized XXVII All India G. V. Mavalankar Shooting Championship in Small Bore Rifle/ Pistol events at MRA Shooting Ranges, Mumbai, Maharashtra from 14th to 26th September 2017 as detailed in the program attached at Appendix “A”. This will be conducted by Maharashtra Rifle Association, an affiliate of National Rifle Association of India under the patronage of the National Rifle Association of India.
Those competitors who want to participate in these competitions are requested to go through thefollowing instructions carefully for their own convenience and to ensure smooth and successfulconduct of the above competitions.
- All the matches will be conducted according to NRAI Match Book 2016. The MatchBook is available on NRAI website
- A shooter is eligible to participate in AIGVMSC only if he/she has achieved thefollowing minimum qualifying scores as per Rule 1.4 of NRAI Match Book in theprevious AIGVMSC, Delhi State Inter School Shooting Championship, Delhi State Championship in the events in which he/she wishes to participate. Scores of such competitions must be filledin the entry form at the time of sending entries for AIGVMSC. Shooters furnishingwrong information shall be debarred from taking part in any Championship for twoyears.

- The last date for submission of entry form is 27th August 2017. Late entries will need to be deposited directly with NRAI after getting the form signed by DSRA with triple entry up to 07-09-2017. The Entry Form complete in all respect may be deposited with any of the following before :-

4. Those who are below 21 years and 18 years of age as on 31st December 2017 will beconsidered under the category of Juniors (1997 onwards) and YOUTH (2000 onwards)respectively for the Championship.
5. IT IS MANDATORY FOR ALLSHOOTERS (SENIORS/JUNIORS & YOUTH CATEGORY) TO GETTHEMSELVES REGISTERED WITH NRAI AND OBTAIN SHOOTER ID CARD(IF NOT ALREADY DONE). SHOOTERS WITHOUT SHOOTER ID CARDWILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE. THE REGISTRATION FORM IS ALSO AVAILABLE ON NRAI WEBSITE THEREGISTRATION FEE IS RS. 150/- AND REGISTRATION FORM SHOULD BESENT THROUGH DELHI STATE RIFLE ASSOCIATION.SHOOTERS WHO DO NOT HAVE SHOOTERS ID NUMBER MUST FILLTHEIR DATE OF BIRTH IN THE ENTRY FORM AND ATTACH CERTIFIEDCOPY OF THEIR DATE OF BIRTH.
6. A shooter will be imposed a penalty of Rs. 3000/- in case they score below 15% of the qualifying score as per NRAI Match Bookrule 1.4 during All India G V Mavalankar Shooting Championship.
7. A penalty of Rs. 200/- will be charged if a shooter loses his/her competitor card duringthe competition and fresh card will only be issued on deposit of penalty.
8. Shooters taking part in Peep Sight Rifle matches are not allowed to take part in OpenSight Rifle Matches or vice versa.
9. Juniors can take part in .22 Rifle/Pistol events under the supervision of Team Manager.
10. Youth Category shooters can take part in all three age categories(seniors/juniors/youth). Juniors can only participate in junior and senior categoryonly. Shooters above the age of 21 years are not allowed to participate in juniorsor youth categories.
11. Only three (3) shooters will be allowed to use common weapon. The names of shooterslikely to use common weapon should be intimated together with the weapon number tothe Organizing Secretary in advance to enable to work out the details for the conduct ofthe relevant matches.
12. Rail Travel concession vouchers can be obtained from NRAI’s office. This will be issuedto those competitors who have paid their Entry Fee and have furnished the requiredinformation against the relevant column provided in the Entry Form.
13. In case of non-participation by the competitors after submission of their entries will not beallowed any refund of the Entry Fee.
