Payroll errors:
The new integrated HR / Payroll solution was implemented from 1st April 2013 - initial unfamiliarity with system combined with significant changes to working practices resulted in a higher than expected error rate.
Circulation of draft minutes of all formal meetings:
The target for this indicator is an internal target. The intention is to review this as part of the forthcoming self evaluation process. It is felt that it is legitimate to review the target given recent changes to staff within the section. On average the minutes are completed within 10 working days.

Exception Report
In Q1 2013/14, 0.22% of payroll errors required emergency payment or recovery, compared to a target of 0.09%. This is an increase on Q4 2012/13, but remains lower than the 0.3% reported in Q3 2012/13.
The new integrated HR / Payroll solution was implemented from 1st April 2013 - initial unfamiliarity with system combined with significant changes to working practices resulted in a higher than expected error rate in Q1 2013/14.
The high level of errors recorded in Q3 2012/13 was due to changes to employee records, in preparation for transfer to new HR/Payroll system. This affected the transfer of hours from secondary to primary payroll records.

In the first 3 months of 2013/14 performance has been way off the target of 92%, which reflects the trend throughout 2012/13. April 2013 saw the lowest percentage (8.3%) of minutes circulated in 5 working days since July 2012. May saw an increase to 25% with a decrease to 18% in June.On average the minutes are completed within 10 working days.
