1. JOB INFORMATION
JOB TITLE: Central Technical Auditor
BAND: 4
DEPARTMENT: Technical
REPORTS TO: Group Technical Services Manager
LOCATION: Craigavon or Grantham
2.  JOB PURPOSE
To provide an independent auditing service for the Moy Park businesses aiming to drive technical improvement and achieve best practice.

4.  DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
·  To gain a full understanding of the Moy Park Business
·  Maintain auditing standards, based on legal and customer requirements and industry best practice.
·  Carry out audits to schedule, along with any additional specific audit requests, and report findings
·  Follow up on non-compliances raised in audits
·  Provide routine reporting on the auditing system.
·  Carry out other auditing / technical roles as required by the business.
·  Contribute to the department / add value by developing requisite skills in this area in line with MP competency framework.
·  To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
5.  MEASURABLE OUTPUTS
·  Audits completed to Schedule
·  Reports submitted to site within five working days
·  ‘Good’ average feedback reports
·  Competency evaluations to assess quality of output
6.  HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
·  Consider health and safety implications in everything you do, particularly when in unfamiliar areas of a site.
·  Follow all local health and safety requirements on each site, in particular, complying with the wearing and use of protective clothing and equipment as required
·  Ensure you are familiar with the routine in case of fire or other emergency that might require evacuation of the workplace for all areas where you may work.
·  When driving between sites ensure you follow the company guidance on safe driving practices.
·  Report any health and safety issues you observe.
7.  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential / Desirable
·  Experience in similar FMCG food industry, including auditing experience.
·  Working knowledge of ISO 9000, BRC standard, HACCP, Food Legislation, and Food Hygiene.
·  Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills.
·  Initiative, self-motivated, well organised and assertive.
·  Logical approach, open minded to other ways of doing things
·  Report writing skills.
·  Able to demonstrate a good record of achievement.
·  Supervisory Experience in a Quality / Technical Role in the Food Industry / ·  3rd level qualification in relevant discipline.
·  Lead auditor qualification
·  Able to demonstrate experience in establishing & maintaining relationships with Customers, external contacts, management colleagues etc.
·  Advanced Diploma in Applied HACCP Principles.
