Applicant Information Packet

Our Vision at East Coast Christian Center

·  LOVE GOD - We love God, and believe that building intimacy with Jesus Christ leads to the most fulfilling relationship you’ll ever have.

·  LOVE THE CHURCH - We love our church family, and know that God wants to increase them so they can experience a life that exceeds anything they ever dreamed.

·  LOVE PEOPLE - We love the lost, and exist to impact our culture by bringing the love and salvation of Jesus Christ to those who don’t know Him.

Our Worship Team Vision

·  THAT HEAVEN MAY COME - We want to be presence driven in our worship, doing worship on Earth as it is heaven, building a throne of praise for Him and stewarding His presence so that the atmosphere of our worship resembles heaven’s atmosphere of highest praise and glory to God. *Revelation 4:10-12

·  THAT WE MAY BECOME - We want to become deeper worshipers, not just bring worship. We as a team will focus on leading people by personhood and practice into a lifestyle of a worshipper beyond Sunday by allowing our lives to harmonize with and amplify the sound of our gathered worship experiences. We know this is a life’s work and commit to progress, not perfection as we pursue a life that brings Him glory. *2 Cor 3:18

·  THAT OTHERS MAY WORSHIP - We want to lead others in worship by serving them through our songs, styles and service planning so that they can know that ALL believers are called to worship God and live a life of devotion to Him. We want to remove the obstacles and make straight the way of the Lord so that He may speak uninterrupted to His people as they gather to worship Him. We will not serve our personal preferences, but we will seek to Love God and Love His Church in our submission of personal agendas to serve heaven’s agenda as we lead in worship. *Isaiah 40:3

Our Philosophy of Worship

·  COMMITMENT TO JESUS - Each person involved in the praise and worship ministry needs to be born-again and have a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

·  COMMITTED TO EAST COAST CHRISTIAN CENTER - Each person must be a member of ECCC for a sufficient period of time or must express a verbal commitment to become a member so as to understand the vision and the direction of the senior pastor and the leadership of the church.

·  EXHIBITS THE CALL OF GOD TO BE A PART OF THE PRAISE & WORSHIP MINSITRY - We want to build a team of worshippers who are enthusiastic and empowered by God and the leadership of ECCC to serve in the Praise and Worship Ministry.

·  POSSESSES A STABLE, CHRIST-LIKE TEMPERAMENT - People with musical talents are sometimes eccentric and independent. Satan also possessed these characteristics before and after his fall. Our desire is to exalt Jesus Christ and to display a Christ-like attitude at all times…particularly when ministering.

·  SERVANTS, WILLING TO WORK HARD AND BE TIMELY IN THEIR COMMITMENTS - The Praise & Worship Ministry is one of the most time-consuming commitments in our church. It is important to be on time and responsibly prepared for every service and rehearsal.

·  MUSICAL TALENT / COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE - Musical ability is part of the requirement to be a member of this ministry. However, no matter what level of ability you possess, everyone is expected to work hard at improving his/her own musical talent.

If there is possibility you may be late communicate it with the leadership ASAP!
