Academic/Recreational:
Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) Summer Programs –
CTY offers summer residential and day programs on the East and West Coasts for qualified students who have completed grades 5-6 -
CTY offers four residential programs for qualified students who havecompletedgrades 7 and above -
Summer Institute of the Gifted (SIGS) - an academic and recreational camp - one of the participating sites is Bryn Mawr College -

Film/Communications:
WHYY Film Academy Summer Camp – this camp gives students the opportunity to use WHYY production equipment to develop and produce news stories based on their interests under the guidance of experienced media instructors. Students may apply for a scholarship.
Journalism:
WHYY Journalism Spring Break - this camp gives students real-world experience in 21st century reporting.Working with expert staff at WHYY and a small team of other students, you'll be out on the streets and in the student news room, shooting and editing video, producing audio content and telling great stories.

Pre-Algebra
This course is designed for middle school students who want to accelerate through Pre-Algebra in the summer and take Algebra I in September.

Science:
Delaware County Community College -
A wide variety of STEM-focused camps, for ages 5-15. Sessions start June 20th
2018 ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer Science Camp hosted by Temple University this summer.
The two-week residential camp is for students entering 6th, 7th, or 8thgrade in the fall of 2017 who have and interest in science and mathematics.

GEMS(Girls in Engineering, Math, and Science) –
Enjoy a week of hands-on science, math, and engineering at the University of Pennsylvania! You’ll participate in a wide variety of activities including Bioengineering, Nanotechnology, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Graphics and Computing.
For girls entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade.

Robotics – American Helicopter Museum, West Chester (Ages 9-14)

This introductory course gives middle school students exposure to concepts and technologies in Robotics through the Vex IQ system.
