Scout Truck:

Width: including wheels, is not to exceed 8.5 centimetres

Length: max 44.5 centimetres

Height: 11.5 centimetres

Weight:Overall weight is not to exceed 900 grams.

Clearance: Clearance between the chassis and the track should be 0.95 centimetres or 3/8ths of an inch.

- Wheel or ride suspension is not allowed.

- Cab and trailer must be separate and be able to swivel

- Details, such as decals, painting and trailer cargo, are permitted, as long as they are firmly attached and do not exceed the specifications listed above.

-Each truck must pass a final inspection by the Race Inspection Committee, before it may compete. The inspectors may not permit trucks to race, at any time, if they do not meet these specifications. After final inspection, trucks will be ‘impounded’, in an area restricted to authorized persons only.

-All assembly & repairs must be completed PRIOR to final inspection – only graphite lubricant allowed. If damage occurs during racing, repairs will be permitted. Leaders may inspect their Scouts’ trucks after every race for damage. NO ADDITONAL LUBRICATION WILL BE ALLOWED ONCE A TRUCK IS IMPOUNDED.
