PRIZES
  1. Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place & ladies performer;
  2. The following tiebreak system (in the order as given) will be used:
1)Score; 2) Tournament Performance; 3) Bucholz Median System; 4) Sonneborn-Berger
  1. No more than one prize will be awarded to any one player and will not be shared;
  2. Prize giving will be held after the last round;

Tournament Arrangements
  1. Right of admission reserved;
  2. No item may be sold or traded by any person other than those given permission by the tournament organizer in writing;
  3. By your entry into this tournament you hereby agree unconditionally to abide by all the rules and regulations;
  4. The organizers of the tournament are not responsible for the safety of players or their property;
  5. Players must provide their own chess pieces and clocks. The organisers will provide the chess boards.
Clocks not required for the Beginners Section. Notation will be compulsory;
  1. FIDE Rules apply;
  2. Tuck shop available. Chess equipment will be for sale.

  1. Complete one registration form per player or the school form if a group of players register;

  3. To assist us we kindly request that you make separate payments for different players;
  4. For EFT payments please use the player’s SURNAME and INITIALS as the reference number;
  5. Fax entry forms and proof of payment to 0866368118 for attention Heidi Veldsman or email to ;
  6. Closing date: 9 April 2014 @ 20h00. Late entries will participate from the 2nd round only and will be limited due to limited space available;
  7. Players must bring the original registration document and proof of payment to the tournament;
  8. It will be each players own responsibility to check the players list on on Thursday and refer all queries to: Heidi Veldsman at 082334 4048before Friday evening 20h00.

Pryse
  1. Medaljes vir 1ste, 2de, 3de en dame presteerder.
  2. Die volgende sisteem sal gebruik word by die bepaling van wenners:
1) Punte; 2)Toernooi Vordering; 3) Bucholz Median Sisteem; 4) Sonneborn-Berger.
  1. Pryse word nie gedeel nie en geen persoon sal meer as een prys wen nie;
  2. Prysuitdeling word direk na die voltooiing van die laaste rondte gehou;

Toernooi Reëlings
  1. Die reg van toegang word voorbehou;
  2. Geen produkte mag verkoop word deur enige iemand nie, as daar nie toestemming verleen is deur die toernooi organiseerders nie;
  3. Alle reëls en regulasies sal sonder enige voorwaardes gehoorsaam word;
  4. Organiseerders van die toernooi sal nie verantwoordelik gehou word vir enige verliese of veiligheid van die spelers nie;
  5. Spelers moet eie stelle en klokke voorsien. Die organiseerders sal skaakborde voorsien. Klokke is nie verpligtend in die beginners afdeling nie. Notasie sal verpligtend wees;
  6. FIDE reëls geld;
  7. Snoepie beskikbaar.Skaakvoorraad salte koop aangebied word.

Registrasie proses
  1. Voltooi een registrasie vorm per speler of die skoolvorm indien ‘n groep spelers registreer;
  2. Inksrywingsgeld moet in betaal word by: Sedibeng Skaak, ABSA, Rek. 4051726790, Tak kode 632005
  • Gebruik asb die speler se VAN en GEBOORTE DATUM as verwysing;
  • Maak asb. aparte betalings vir elke speler om die proses te vergemaklik;
  1. Faks inskrywingvorms en bewys van betaling aan Heidi Veldsman by0866368118 of 0163623555 of epos na ;
  2. Inskrywings sluit 20h00 Woensdag 9 April 2014. Laat inskrywings is beperk tot die beskikbaarheid van tafels en speel slegs vanaf rondte 2;
  3. Spelers moet die oorspronklike inskrywing en bewys van betaling saam bring na die toernooi.
  4. Dit is elke speler se eie verantwoordelikheid om toe te sien dat hy/sy wel op die spelerslys verskyn watl Donderdagaand beskikbaar sal wees op . Alle veranderinge moet asb. deur gegee word naHeidi Veldsmanby 082334 4048voor Vrydagaand 20h00;
