Asbury Communities has retained LeaderStat Premier to assist them in identifying an experienced Executive Directorto lead Asbury Inverness Village’s beautiful Continuing Care Retirement Community in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Inverness Village is the premier nonprofit retirement community in the area and began as a local vision for a new kind of senior living community with a foundation built upon high quality service and hospitality.
Inverness Village offers the entire continuum of care including Residential Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Home Care. Located on a beautiful 190-acre campus, residents enjoy a relaxed, resort country setting with easy access to shopping, restaurants and cultural attractions only 15 minutes away in downtown Tulsa.
The Executive Director will be instrumental in developing an organizational strategy to integrate the community into local networks and aligning the community strategies with the mission of Asbury Communities.
Key Accountabilities Include:
• Provide strong and ethical leadership and management skills to the community and the Asbury system in line with Asbury Communities’ Mission, Vision, and Values
• Engage, empower, and manage an effective and collaborative leadership team at the community to achieve stated goals and objectives
• Establish and maintain effective relationships and channels of communication with residents, associates, families, board of directors, corporate representatives, and external stakeholders
• Achieve the financial goals of the community by building, managing, and administering the operations and capital budgets to meet or exceed budgeted targets and meet bond covenants
• Serve as a representative of the Asbury system office and the community, effectively communicating and deploying organizational initiatives at the local level
• Expand the Asbury Communities brand through the building of relationships in the Tulsa community
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop organizational strategies to integrate the community and local network of services with the broader strategies and mission of Asbury Communities
- Direct the day to day operations of the community including, but not limited to administration, nursing services, maintenance, dining services, environmental services, sales and marketing, and resident life
- Continually strive to provide innovative, visionary services to residents and the broader community
- Drive for results in resident and associate satisfaction, census and revenue growth, and implementation of new services
- Provide engaging leadership to the interdisciplinary team
Experience/Education:
- Ten (10) years’ progressive experience in management
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience at the leadership level in healthcare administration
- Bachelor's degree in Gerontology, Business, or related field required
- Current Nursing Home Administrator’s License in good standing or the ability to meet the licensure requirements required
- Master's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
