StaffNet: B2B portal used by Emirates staff to assists their customers in creating hotel, flights and holiday package bookings and quotations.

  • Part of the StaffNet development and support team. Technologies used were ASP.NET and Oracle
  • Involved in development of the core booking engine for StaffNet using web services.
  • Developed the CRM application to store and retrieve static and transactional customer data for developing targeted marketing campaigns
  • Developed the interface to the Corporate Payment Gateway to enable e-commerce transactions.
  • Single point of contact for handling support and enhancement requests of StaffNet system.

Client: Emirates Holidays, Srilankan Holidays, Network Passenger Sales Department (NPSD)

TradeNet: A real time internet-based booking engine used by travel agents around the world for offering their customers immediate hotel, flight and tour confirmations, tailor-made holiday packages and quote on fares. ( Three separate systems were developed for 3 different clients based on their requirements.

  • Involved in enhancements and support of the core booking engine of the TradeNet system. Technologies used were ASP.NET and Oracle.
  • Developed an interface for submission of visa application forms for online processing.

  • Part of a 3 member team that successfully designed and developed a system for Southern California Edison's employees to keep track of their work effort.

Client: AON– AON is an Insurance brokerage company with offices in the U.S and U.K.

  • Part of a 3 member team that successfully designed and developed a portal for AON. The portal helped AON maintain its insurance policies with its clients. The portal had workflows to add new policies and search, renew and cancel existing policies.

Client: IKON OfficeSolutions – IKON is the largest distributor of office supplies equipments in the U.S.

  • Single-handedly managed and developed internal web sites for IKON. The web sites were used for scheduling travel itineraries; and registration and administration for annual summits for top and middle management at IKON.
