At 7:00 pm Alvin Bartz called to order the February 2018 monthly boardmeeting present for roll call was Harold Polzin, Dennis Thornton, and Kristine Vomastic Clerk, absentKay Kristof Treasurer.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
Marsha Rolf asked if there has been a decision made concerning disk golf which may be located by the Round Lake Shelter;she is still concerned about her safety if this is passed.
Kris Dohn asked for some information to take to the Cloverleaf Sanitary District meeting on what theymay be willing to donate to the town of Belle Plaine. It may be money towards the new UTVor to help the Cloverleaf and Long Lakes.
CLERKS REPORT
The Clerk read the minutes from the January 08, 2018 meeting. Dennis Thornton made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Harold Polzin, three in favor non opposed, motion carried.
UTV UPDATE
Mark Retzlaff said that the title for the new UTV will be done through the Shawano Area Fire Department, they will be paying the insurance for the vehicleand it will be shared by a number of towns.Harold Polzin made a motion to approve the purchase of the UTV, seconded by Dennis Thornton, all three in favor, none opposed, motion carried. We will do an article for the newsletter about the new UTV.
BOR TRAINING
Dennis, Harold and Alvin attended the Wisconsin Town’s Association meeting and received BOR training and certification.
DNR AND COMPOST SITE
Once the DNR receives the payment we owe we can start burning at the compost site.
CUTTING TREES
We will again be cutting trees that hang over the roads, Spruce Road,M to 22, Capitol Drive and on Schoenrock Lake Road are areas that need to be looked at. It was discussed and decided that it is something that needs to be done.
FIRE TRUCK TITLE
We have been looking for the title for the fire truck. Since it was a long time ago and neither Shawano nor Belle Plaine can find it, Alvin asked Mark Retzlaff if he would be willing to work with the DOT to get a new one.
SUPERVISOR REPORT
Dennis Thornton asked that we pay Joan Sousek $60.00 for articles written for the town newsletter.
TREASURER’S REPORT
A motion was made by Harold Polzin to accept the bills as presented. Seconded by Dennis Thornton, all three in favor, none opposed, motion carried.
Harold Polzin made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Dennis Thornton, motion carried.
