Job Title: / Workshop – Electrical ManagerReporting To: / Facilities Manager
Responsible for: / N/A
Overview / Provide support to the estate & Front of house managers, located at each centre. Act as a central point of communication for all bowling machinery electrical work & knowledge. Liaising with external customers as requested.
Duties & Responsibility
- Repair electrical components relating to both Brunswick & AMF machine types
- Ensure compliance of standard operating procedures
- Maintain all material handling equipment in good working order and cleanliness of department
- Ensure quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met
- Planning future capacity requirements
- Planning and scheduling planned and unplanned work
- Diagnosing breakdown problems
- Carrying out quality inspections on jobs
- Directing, instructing and supervising maintenance technicians allocating work to a team
- Carry out training in accordance to the company training plan, co-coordinating the on-going training of technicians as required.
- liaising with General Managers & Front of House Managers
- Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components;
- Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment;
- Help with installation and commissioning as & when necessary
- Checking & calibrating instruments/parts/boards to make sure they are accurate
- Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns
- Fixing faults on site or arranging for replacement machinery or equipment to be installed.
- Ensuring that self and team provide a high level of personal appearance
- Striving to constantly achieve a high level of service & maintenance
- Actively supporting the operations team
- Undertake such other duties commensurate with the responsibilities of the role & any other reasonable management request
- Informing the Technical Services Manager, Retail Operations Director & Regional Manager of any major faults or lanes out of service
- Ensuring all COSHH regulations are up to date & adhered to
- Ensuring all safety signage regarding Bowling equipment is maintained & updated
- Ensure all rules regarding noise protection areas are adhered to
- Responsible for the stock levels within the electrical repairs department, keeping accurate records of parts delivered, usage and on hand.
- Responsible for keeping records of components sent by a site, repair date & return of.
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
- Overseeing the planned maintenance of machinery and equipment as directed in units throughout the company

- To ensure all Technicians carrying out work in this department conform to the relevant safety procedures as laid down in the safety manual.
