I refer to your request for information regarding the surrendering of operator licences. Your request was received on 3 June 2010 by the STC Secretariat. Initially it was thought that the request should be dealt with by VOSA’s Information Access Team, but having reviewed the request it appears that it does fall under the remit of the Traffic Commissioners.
The information you have requested is published in the Traffic Commissioners’ Annual Reports, which are available from the following website: Section 21 of the above Act (Information accessible to applicant by other means), has therefore been applied.
The Traffic Commissioners’ 2009-10 report should be published in autumn this year and will also be available on the Department for Transport’s website. Section 22 of the above Act (Information intended for future publication) has therefore been applied.
Details of the surrendering of operator licences are also available in ‘Applications and Decisions’ and ‘Notices and Proceedings’, which are published fortnightly. These publications are available on the following website:
