HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!
Look how far God has brought us!
We are grateful for all he has done. We have laughed together, prayed together, grieved together and now God is allowing us to once again to live together. Let us do so in peace, harmony, and love. In December, we celebrated with the Deacon and Deaconess Hallelujah Feast. The children had their Christmas Play on December 18th each participant shared an outstanding performance. The Lord God allowed us to be part of celebrating the “Birth of Jesus” once again on Christmas Morning at 6:00 am. We had a great time. The message was “Making it known abroad,” Luke 2:17. We will end the year and bring in the New Year at our annual Watch Service on Saturday night December 31st, at 10:00 pm. We will celebrate into the New Year with a musical presented by the music department. All the choirs will participate in the service. We plan to end the celebration in prayer giving God thanks for the “NEW YEAR” by 12 o’clock Midnight. We hope and pray that everyone will have a Happy New Year!

In the New Testament, the firstfruit offering is mentioned seven times, always symbolically. Paul calls Epaenetus and the household of Stephanas “the firstfruit of Achaia” (Romans 16:5; 1 Corinthians 16: 15). His meaning is that, just as the firstfruit offering was the first portion of a larger harvest, these individuals were the first of many converts in that region. James calls believers “a kind of firstfruit of His creatures” (James 1:18). Just like the sheaf of grain was set apart for the Lord, so are believers set apart for God’s glory.
