Meeting between FEMM delegation and NGOs

FEMM delegation visit to Portugal, on the 2nd and 3rd May, had a good coverage by Portuguese media. I newspaper published an article after the visit saying that MEPs showed their concern about the impact of the crisis among women, as well as an interview with PT MEP Edite Estrela (S&D). Jornal de Notícias and Dinheiro Vivo anticipated the visit of the delegation in Portugal.

SIC TV channel will also broadcast a report about the visit in its weekly program Europa XXI (Europe XXI).

MEPs in Portugal to evaluate the impact of the crisis on women

Seven MEPs from Women's Rights and Gender Equality committee will visit Portugal to assess the impact of the crisis on women. Portuguese MEPs Edite Estrela, Regina Bastos and Inês Zuber will join the delegation that will meet the government and NGO's.

MEPs were in Portugal and showed their concern with the consequences of the crisis for women.
