Theme / Exploring Partnerships: Using the Include Always model to successfully engage patients and families
Purpose: / Fulfill a key deliverable for the MAPS grant from MHA as part of the HEN 2.0 contract. Convene the community toalign around a set of priorities for patient and family engagement in Minnesota, to provide strategies and tactics to promote the work and introduce the new website toolkit to the community.

  • Learn how a metro health system applies cultural humility to improve care.
  • Explore opportunities to use technology to enhance patient experience.

Attendance / 95 attendees (10 patients) No registration fee, but $75 fee for food.
Evaluations / Attendees were enthusiastic in their evaluations of the event.
  • The “information and ideas provided” were rated Excellent by 77% of attendees and Good by 23%.
  • The “likelihood that I will apply some of the content to improve my effectiveness and results” was rated Excellent by 87% and Good by 13% of participants.
