SESSION 2: AID FOR TRADE AND AGRICULTURE – NATIONAL AND REGIONAL PERSPECTIVES
11.30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
This session will allow Members, Observers and Observer Organizations to discuss their experiences of mainstreaming trade into national and regional agricultural development strategies, the role of trade in new initiatives for food security and on-going Aid-for-Trade activities directed at the agriculture sector, as well as evaluations of the impact and effectiveness of Aid for Trade in the agriculture sector.
Members are encouraged to submit background documents to the Secretariat in advance of the workshop. Submissions received will be issued as CTD documents Members are requested to provide this information by Friday, 5 March 2010to .

[1]The Workshop will be followed by the Fourteenth Session of the Committee on Trade and Development on Aid for Trade, which will be held in the afternoon of 17 March. Interpretation will be provided in English, French and Spanish.
