At roundabout take 3rd exit N59 (signposted Oughterard, Clifden) In 0.7 mile at T-junction turn left.

Taking the N59 in the direction of Clifden via Oughterard, Maam Cross and Recess (Sraith Salach on some maps). After passing through Oughterard (a nice town to stop for a break with a lovely park transected by a running stream), and Maam Cross (recognizable by Peacocks hotel - a yellow building with clock tower) you will arrive at Recess, marked by a small road house with a shop ("Joyces") and pub ("Jack Bills"). Continuing a further 2 miles along the N59 after Recess take a left turn onto the R340 where the hotel is sign-posted. A further 3 miles on the R340 there is a right turn where you will see another signpost for Cashel and the hotel. The Zetland Country House is situated on the right hand side 0.8 of a mile from the turn. Please take the second entrance to the hotel which will lead to the front car-park.
