A)Reports:

1)Summary Management Report (SMR): Changes have been made to the SMR with the addition of a third page. This page contains Collection Mode Indicator (CMI), Touchtone Response System (TRS), BLS 3023-NVS – Industry Verification, and BLS 3023-NVM Industry Verification Forms (Dates, Counts, & Types, etc).

2)Quarterly (NAICS) Size Class Listings: New listings that are run from the Reports Menu. The NAICS Size Class Listing will have two (2) sorts each, Employers by Size and Employment by Size. Confidentiality is based on Month 3 data only. Listings can be run for Statewide, County, Residence, Zone, LMA, MSA, or WIA Codes. Reports are (by default parameter) for 3 digit level). The State can control this by changing Report Parameter 18 (Size Class Report Digit Level) to a different level.

3)Multiple Worksite Reports (MWR) Forms: In the September 2003 release, a change was made to the MWR forms for subunits whose County code is greater than 900. A special message was inserted in the Street 1 position while suppressing the rest of the address (if any). As part of that change, the RUN description was also being suppressed when in fact it should not have been. This has been corrected and the RUN description is now display (if available).

4)Control File Listing for Non-Respondents: Changes have been made to this listing. The Year is now passed as a parameter from the Reports Menu (Remember to use the Fiscal Year similar to the ARCS Summary Management Report). To assist in preparing form letters, the counts for TRS-NVS, Non-TRS-NVS, and NVM forms have been added to this listing. The output name has changed from trs-listing.txt to trs-listing-YYYY.txt where YYYY is the Fiscal Year.

Job Description: Maintenance Job

This procedure will create and run the following jobs in the Administrative\Monitor Screen:

Report 625 Update: Control File Listing for Non-Respondents parameter change. This procedure will update this listing to accept the Year as an input parameter from the Reports Menu.

Max Run Field Check: This procedure will check for invalid data in the Maximum RUN field and automatically make corrections if necessary.

Phone Extension Field Check: This procedure will check for invalid (character) data in the Phone Extension field. A listing of accounts consisting of the UI, Run, and the value of the Phone Extension field are created in the \win202\reports directory. The output file is called phone-ext-chk.txt. Only numeric data should be stored in this field (Phone Extension).

Error Code Description Change (70,120): This procedure will change the descriptions for Error Codes 70 and 120 as follows: When completed, the changes can be viewed via the Lookup Screens\Edit Tab\Error Codes.

State Agency Name Update/Check: This procedure will check/ update (if necessary) the States Agency Name using data provide by BLS.

New Size Class Listings: This procedure will add the new Quarterly (NAICS) Size Class Listings to the Reports Menu.

Size Class Parameter 18: This procedure will add Reports Parameter 18 (Size Class Report Digit Level) to the Reports Parameter Menu. Default is 3-digit level.

Spec-Ind T Correction: This procedure will check for lower case ‘t’ and change it to upper case.
