Teacher Incentive Fund
List of Applicants for the 2010 Competition
The following is a list of all entities that submitted an application for the 2010 Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) program competitions.
Some non-profit applicants submitted more than one application by applying with multiple partners—multiple applications are indicated in parentheses. Please also note that some of the entities that have submitted applications may not be eligible to receive a TIF award.
Eligible applicants are State educational agencies (SEAs), local educational agencies (LEAs) including charter schools that are LEAs within their States, and partnerships comprised of (1) of one or more SEAs and/or one or more LEAs and (2) one or more non-profit organizations. Private schools and for-profit charter schools are not eligible. In addition, current TIF grantees are ineligible to be funded unless they propose to use TIF funds available under this competition to expand their existing performance-based compensation system to a new group of LEAs, or to a new group of high-need schools or school personnel not already impacted by their current TIF grant.
Total amount of funds requested by all applicants across the five-year grant period: $1,611,582,890
