Job Purpose:
To support the Head Coach in the planning and delivery an effective training programme to help prepare players for international rugby, and at the same time, enhance the reputation of Scotland Women’s rugby.

Shared responsibility for building & sustaining a competitive team
Input into selection for matches
Involved in the planning, preparation and roll out of a programme of training/coaching for the squad throughout the season.
Formally review the performance of individual players and create the appropriate environment for individual improvement based upon regular reviews.

- Consider and develop match tactics to ensure success.

Factor / Essential / Desirable
Qualifications and Attainments: / Minimum UKCC Level 2 or equivalent
IRB Rugby Ready
Knowledge and Experience: / Successful track record developing players.
Experience of identifying and implementing individual player development plans.
Knowledge and understanding of Rugby Union and the development of team performance.
Track record of success in previous relevant coaching roles, including within your area of expertise.
Experience of being involved in a successful team.
IT skills & experience, including the use of video analysis systems e.g Focus X2, Sportscode
Confident in presenting to all levels of audience.
Track record of developing relationships and working effectively with partners. / Knowledge of Long Term Player Development principles.
Understanding and knowledge of Scottish Rugby and where Scotland Women U20 Rugby fits into this.
