Kinds of Sentences (Chapter 1, Lesson 6)
A sentence can be used to make a statement, to ask a question, to make a request or give a command, or to show strong feelings.
There are four kinds of sentences:
1. ______- makes a statement; always ends in a period.
2. ______- asks a question; always ends with a question mark.
3. ______- tells or asks someone to do something; usually ends with a period but may end with an exclamation point.
4. ______- shows strong feeling; always ends with an exclamation point.

Periods:
