Business Intelligence & Reporting Specialist

Kent Building Supplies is now seeking Business Intelligence & Reporting Specialists to join our team and assist with the roll out of Microsoft Dynamics 365 within the organization.

In the role of Business Intelligence & Reporting Specialistyou will be part of the team who shapes the future of how we do business at Kent. This is a unique opportunity and an exciting and high impact position.

You will work together with colleagues and leaders from all areas of the business, as well as our project partners.

You will be part of the ERP Project team; TEAM CLARITY. The team will be based out of our ERP satellite location; located at 380 Bayside Drive in Saint John NB, however the location is flexible for this role if you are available to travel to Saint John up to 25% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders from all departments to gather, analyze, and determine data andinformation requirements in support of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 deployment.
  • Create reports, and dashboardsto fulfill basic information requests within the Microsoft D365 workspaces using PowerBI and subsequently document specifications.
  • Follow standard processes for reporting and quality control for reports.
  • Assist in training end users on reporting tools as well as provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members within Kent.

  • Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be capable of working multiple projects at one time and evaluate/prioritize as necessary.
  • Experience with Tableau, Cognos and/or Microsoft Power BI would be an asset, however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Location: Flexible (with some travel required).
