Français 3Nom ______

IPA: Les Vacances

Context: You are working part-time for Discover Ohio and they need your help attracting more French families to the state. They’ve asked you to write a blog post telling what you did in Ohio over the summer. (The post doesn’t have to be totally true—the purpose is to advertise the fun things there are to do in Ohio.) The following tasks will help you prepare for your blog entry.

  • First, you will read an article about summer vacation in France--You need to know whether French families are likely to travel in the summertime.
  • Next, you will watch a couple of videos to learn more about what French adults and French kids like to do on vacation.
  • Then, you will talk to a friend about what s/he did this summer in order to get ideas for your post.
  • Finally, you will write a post for the Discover Ohio blog in which you describe some fun things you did in Ohio this summer. You should include things that you actually did, as well as some of the ideas that your partner gave you.
