It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to know exactly what they are buying & ensure they have viewed the firearm & the information provided is correct to their satisfaction. The mechanical workings of these firearms have not been tested. We highly recommend the firearms be checked for their safety & ability to fire by a qualified gun repair shop/gunsmith prior to shooting.
Type Description: “A” Antique, “B” Black Powder, “BBL” Barrel only, “C&R” Curio & Relic, “M” Modern, “R” Regulated Firearm/Handgun, “MD Banned” Weapon banned for sale to a resident of the state of Maryland.
Firearm Type/Category: The firearms will be broken down into 6 categories. #1 ANTIQUE. An Antique is generally a firearm that is made to fire modern metallic ammunition but was made prior to 1898. No paperwork is required to transfer this type of firearm. #2 BLACKPOWDER. A Black powder firearm is not made to fire modern metallic ammunition. No paperwork is required to transfer this type of firearm. Can be exceptions. #3 CURIO & RELIC. A Curio & Relic Firearm has been designated by the by the BATFE as having collector value or is over 50 years old. Only Licensee’s who have applied for and received a CURIO & RELIC LICENCE through the BATFE Qualify for this category. #4 MODERN. A Modern firearm is made after 1898 & is required to be transferred via an instant background check by an FFL dealer to transfer the firearm to you. #5 REGULATED. A Regulated Firearm is designated so by the State of Maryland & requires an instant background check & associated paperwork to be completed for the MD State Police. This covers most handguns that fire metallic cased ammunition. This paperwork requires a 7 day (Business Day) waiting period. NOTE: As of 11/22/13 MSP is taking Approx. 120 days to approve a set of handgun paperwork for transfer. #6 MD BANNED This category will contain certain Assault Rifles (AR-15, AK-47, UZI, SKS w/detachable mag, ect…) that the State of Maryland has banned for transfer in the State of MD. This type of firearm can’t be purchased by a Maryland Resident. It may be sold to residents of other States where that type of firearm is legal to purchase. THE FIREARM TYPES ARE LISTED BELOW IN THE CATALOG. AS A GENERAL RULE THESE ARE NOT SUBJECT TO CHANGE UNLESS A TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR WAS MADE. Our FFL has the final say on this matter. If a firearm is listed as modern or regulated it is on our FFL dealers ACUISITION & DISPOSITION (A&D) book & will not be changed, I.E. paperwork is required.
Seat Reservation: Seat Reservation can be done this year on the Preview Night. You can register on Thursday Night the 30th and we will provide up to 4 seat reservation labels per registrant and you can place them on the available seats. This will be done on a first come first served basis.
Abbreviations: The following is a list of abbreviations used here. BBL = Barrel, DA = Double Action, GA = Gauge, OAL = Over All Length, O/U = Over & Under, SA = Single Action, SBS = Side by Side, SAR/SA Rifle = Semi Automatic Rifle, BAR/BA Rifle = Bolt Action Rifle, LAR/LA Rifle = Lever Action Rifle, Rev. = Revolver, SSR = Single Shot Rifle, SAP/SA Pistol = Semi Automatic Pistol, DOM = Date of Manufacture.
PURCHASING A FIREARM: Items will be sold in the catalog order listed. All State & Federal Laws will be adhered to when transferring firearms. Our FFL Dealer can transfer most regular rifles & shotguns (Listed as
Modern) to Residents of Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. Residents of other State’s must have their firearms shipped to an FFL Dealer in their state. There is no limit on Quantity of these types of rifles or shotguns (Listed as Modern) that can be purchased and the paperwork completed at one time. Once you purchase a firearm you may go to the FFL Office and initiate your paperwork. The paperwork will not be finalized until you have paid for your item(s) at the Registration windows. You will need to take your payment receipt to the FFL room. The receipt must be in the name of the person the background check will be completed in.
For firearms listed as Regulated: If you are a Maryland resident all firearms listed as REGULATED in the Catalog will need to be transferred to another FFL/MD State Regulated Firearms Dealer to complete your
regulated transfer. If you are a resident of any other State (Other than Maryland) your Regulated Firearm will need to be transferred to an FFL in your state to process the required paperwork. Our FFL License holder is a MD State Regulated Firearms Dealer but has chosen not to process paperwork through the Maryland State Police at this Time. For a $10 transfer Fee + the cost of shipping our FFL will either ship or hand deliver your REGULATED firearm to a Local Dealer of your choice. The choice of whether to ship or deliver will be at the discretion of our FFL. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This decision was made that due to the time frame for attaining the HQL License and current wait time of 4 months for MSP to return an Approval for Transfer its not feasible for our Dealer to do this type of transfer. Our FFL is not willing to do 8th Day Transfers. For firearms listed MD Banned (I.E. Most items that were on Maryland Assault Weapons Regulated Firearm List have now been banned for sale in the State of Maryland. All firearms listed as MD BANNED in the catalog
will need to be transferred to an FFL Licensed Firearms Dealer outside of the State of Maryland. These firearms can’t be transferred to you if you are a Maryland Resident These firearms can’t be handed out in the State of Maryland to Resident of a State where they are legal to own. They will only be transferred from our FFL to an FFL in your state to process the required paperwork in your state. It is imperative that you ensure the firearm can be legally owned in your Jurisdiction. Once the firearm has been shipped out of Maryland it can’t come back to our FFL Dealer. There will be a $10 transfer Fee + the cost of shipping to your FFL. Our FFL will either ship or hand deliver your REGULATED to a Dealer of your choice. The choice of whether to ship or deliver will be at the discretion of our FFL. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Transfer time frames: Most Non-Regulated Rifles & Shotguns can have an instant Federal Background Check completed at the time of sale and you can take the Firearm with you the Day of the Auction (MD, DE, VA,
WV & PA Residents Only). As of November 15th, 2013 the estimated time to complete and receive an approval from the MD State Police for a MD Resident to purchase a REGULATED FIREARM is over 120 Days. No paperwork will be completed by our FFL for Maryland Residents buying a REGULATED firearm. For a $10 Transfer Fee + the cost of shipping our FFL will transfer the Regulated Firearm to a MD State Regulated Firearms Dealer of your choice and you can complete the paperwork there.
