Nomination of BFREPA Council representatives for 2018

Please find enclosed a nomination form for the election of members to the BFREPA Council for 2018. In accordance with the association rules each region has two available seats, one of which must be vacated each year. I have had the honour of serving as your Chairman for almost a year now and it has certainly been an eventful 12 months. I am very willing to serve for another year as is your current Vice Chairman, Doug Wanstall from Kent, should you wish to nominate either or both of us again.

Those names marked with an asterisk on the nomination form are Council members who have come to the end of their 2-year term but are willing to stand again should you wish to re-elect them.

Becoming a Council member

Election to the Council of BFREPA requires nomination by two other producer members of BFREPA to a vacant regional position and subsequent election and confirmation at the Annual General Meeting. Producers can nominate as many other producer members of BFREPA as they wish, across any of the regions where there are vacancies.

How to nominate a Council member?

Please enter the name of the producer you wish to represent your region on Council in the right hand column of the enclosed nomination form and return it to the BFREPA office by the deadline date ofThursday21 September 2017. You can post oremail your nominations. A list of all those individuals who have received 2 or more valid nominations will then be sent to you, together with an AGM Agenda,not less than three days before the meeting.A copy of the current 2017 Council membership list is enclosed for your information.
