Expression of Interest for being member of the Swedish LTER network
This is an invitation to express an interest for membership in the Swedish LTER network and for achieving the status of being an official LTER or LTSER site. All research institutes, research units or consortia that are prepared to commit to the criteria set up for the LTER/LTSER sites for at least the next five years are welcome to express their interest.
The Expression of interest consists of this document to be signed, and two appendices:
1. Questionnaire on formalities
2. Written work plan

Name and contact details of the institute intended to coordinate the activities of the applicant site/area (university, research institute, -station or other research unit), and temporal extent of commitment
The contact person should be a site coordinator that is appointed for at least 2 years and holding a permanent position, with distinct definition of tasks.
The formal LTER-Europe criteria require at least a 5 year commitment including staff and infrastructure (field work, lab work etc.).
