Proposed rule changes to Saturday County Leagues and Sunday Leagues playing conditions

(A)Amendment to rule 2.1

All matches shall commence by 1.00pm. In Saturday County Division 2 and below, and all Sunday Divisions, the starting time of a match can be changed, providing both teams agree.

Additionally a minimum of two (2) fielders must be in a recognised close catching position. After the first 10 overs the minimum number of fielders to be inside the circle shall be six (6), including the bowler and wicket keeper.

(F) Amendment to rule 4.6

If either team does not have the opportunity of batting a minimum of 23 overs in County Divisions 1, 2 & 3, and 20 overs in all other Saturday and Sunday Divisions, then the match shall be considered to be abandoned. (G) Amendment to rule 9.2

In Saturday County Divisions 1, 2 & 3 and Sunday Division 1, the Home Team must input a completed scoresheet on the Play-Cricket website, within 72 hours of the end of the match.
