Win a Promethean Activwand!
Beginning in November, HCPS Staff Development will be having a monthly contest for the best interactive flipchart. Please pay careful attention to the Guidelines and Rubric when creating your flipchart.
Guidelines:
1. Title Page containing Title of flipchart, your name, state standard, grade, school.
2. An objective page clearly stating the goals/purpose of the flipchart.
3. FOUR minimum pages of content – each page must include
an interactive piece engaging students to interact with the board.
4. Two additional pages containing an assessment component providing students with instant feedback and help identifying errors in their thinking.
5. A final credits page giving credit to any clipart, videos, etc.
6. TOTAL minimum pages = 9
Please be sure to view the HCPS Promethean Flipchart Rubric Draft before creating and submitting your flipchart. This can also be found in the
Activwand Contest folder in HCPSchoolspace / Promethean Users Community.
Monthly Deadline Dates:
Flipcharts must be uploaded to the correct drop box in the Promethean Users community no later than 3:30 on the dates listed below.
Nov. – due Wed. Nov. 26th
Dec. – none due
Jan. – Fri. Jan. 30th
Feb. – Fri. Feb. 27th
Users with one year+ experience should submit their flipchart into the EXPERIENCED flipchart drop box. Users that have been using the board for less than a year should submit their flipchart into the NOVICE flipchart drop box.
Winners will be notified by email and will be listed in HCPSchoolspace as well as the HCPS Staff Development Promethean Support website:
