  1. BYLAWS

L.1.a.Bylaw 12920 – To Amend the Zoning Bylaw from (IM) Medium Industrial Zone to (IH) Heavy Industrial Zone; Located at 12221 – 17 Street NE, Clover Bar Industrial.

PURPOSE

To accommodate the development of a new asphalt manufacturing plant.

W. Gowdy, Hemmera Envirochem, was in attendance to answer questions in favour of the passing of Bylaw 12920.

L.1.b.Bylaw 12921 – To Amend the Zoning Bylaw from (AGI) Industrial Reserve Zone to (IB) Industrial Business Zone and (IM) Medium Industrial Zone; Located South of 76 Avenue and West of Meridian Street, Maple Ridge Industrial.

PURPOSE

To allow for a range of industrial business and medium industrial uses.

There were no persons present to speak to the passing of Bylaw 12921.

L.1.c.Bylaw 12924 – To Amend the Zoning Bylaw from (RF5) Row Housing Zone, (RSL) Residential Small Lot Zone and (PU) Public Utility Zone to (RSL) Residential Small Lot Zone and (PU) Public Utility Zone, Located South of Whitemud Drive, and West of 199Street, Glastonbury.

PURPOSE

To allow for a modification to the plan of subdivision for the development of single detached residential dwellings on smaller lots and a storm water management facility.

There were no persons present to speak to the passing of Bylaw 12924.

Mayor B. Smith asked if there was any objection to Bylaw 12917 and Resolution E.1.a. being read together. No one objected.

L.1.d.Bylaw 12917 - To Amend the Zoning Bylaw from (AGI) Industrial Reserve Zone to (IM) Medium Industrial Zone; Located North of 68 Avenue and West of 50 Street, Roper Industrial.

PURPOSE

To allow for medium industrial uses on the site.

E.REPORTS RELATED TO EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MATTERS

E.1.a.ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE SOUTHEAST INDUSTRIAL AREA OUTLINE PLAN for an Area North of 68 Avenue and West of 50 Street, Roper Industrial.

G. Stebner and J. Ohki, Consor Developers Inc., were in attendance to answer questions in favour of the passing of Bylaw 12917 and Item E.1.a.

  1. BYLAWS

L.1.e.Bylaw 12919 – To Amend the Zoning Bylaw and Appendix I to Section 930 Special Area Ellerslie Industrial from (AGI) Industrial Reserve Zone to (EIB) Ellerslie Industrial Business Zone; Located East of 101 Street and South of 30 Avenue, Ellerslie Industrial.

PURPOSE

To allow for industrial business uses as well as a Private Club.

M. Changarathil, Canadian Kerala Cultural Association of Alberta, was in attendance to answer questions in favour of the postponement of Bylaw 12919.

L.1.f.Bylaw 12918 - To Amend the Zoning Bylaw from (IH) Heavy Industrial Zone to (IB) Industrial Business Zone; Located at 71 Street and Fort Road, Yellowhead Corridor.

PURPOSE

To allow for industrial business uses on the site.

R. Souchotte, on behalf of 761117 Alberta Ltd., was in attendance to speak in favour of the passing of Bylaw 12918.
