A RESOLUTION adjourning the House of Representatives in loving memory and honor of Daniel C. Seaver.
With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Daniel C. Seaver, and we pause in silent reverence for his soul.
WHEREAS, Daniel C. Seaver was born on October 5, 1946, a native of Hinsdale, Illinois, and longtime resident of Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, and he traversed these earthly bounds on February 1, 2002; and
WHEREAS, Daniel C. Seaver was the loving son of Alice Seaver and the late Robert Seaver, he was the devoted husband of Cynthia Womack Seaver, and he was the adored father of a daughter, Nancy Seaver, and twin sons, Robert and James Seaver, all of Lexington, and he is also survived by three brothers and a sister; and
WHEREAS, Daniel C. Seaver graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, and he received his master's degree from the University of Kentucky; and
WHEREAS, Daniel C. Seaver was an active and involved member of the Fayette County community where he was held in high esteem by the students and faculty of the University of Kentucky; and during his tenure with the University of Kentucky, he held many leadership positions, including assistant Dean of Admissions and Student Affairs and assistant Adjunct Professor in the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, and he also served on numerous committees at the A. B. Chandler Medical Center; and he was an advocate of the University of Kentucky's chapters of the American Student Dental Association, the Hispanic Dental Association, and the American Association of Women Dentists, as well as other committees and national organizations; and
WHEREAS, Daniel C. Seaver served his country with pride and honor in the United States Army, he was a Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America, and he was president of the Cherokee Park Neighborhood Association in Lexington; and
WHEREAS, the passing of Daniel C. Seaver has left a void that cannot be filled, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The House of Representatives does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Daniel C. Seaver, and extends to his family and friends its most heartfelt sympathy.
Section 2. When the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Daniel C. Seaver.
Section 3. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Mrs. Cynthia Womack Seaver, 112 Cherokee Park, Lexington, Kentucky 40503.
